Do you have a nonprofit-related legal question for an attorney?
UNA Member Legal Clinic, exclusive to UNA Nonprofit Members, is a 30-minute one-on-one conversation with your nonprofit and Nonprofit Legal Services of Utah where you can receive answers to short legal questions about your nonprofit governance and business-law needs.
Use your appointment, held over Zoom, to receive general nonprofit legal information and brief legal advice. Your appointment can help you decide if you can handle the matter on your own, or if you should hire an attorney.
Fine Print and Exclusions:
The UNA Member Legal Clinic is only able to address nonprofit concerns. The legal clinic differs from hiring an attorney, because the attorney there will not take your case or represent you in court. It is not a resource for
Support with drafting or revising Articles of Incorporation, contracts, bylaws or policies.

What Happens after You Register
Signup: UNA will send you a link to use to sign up for your preferred time
Prep: You’ll receive a short questionnaire about your legal question which will be shared with the attorney, Aaron C. Garrett, so that he can research your needs and provide guidance.
Why Attend
Legal clinics are a great way to find the answers to that burning question that would be so much easier if you could ask a lawyer.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone who has a specific legal question about nonprofits, with focus on one particular topic to allow for strategic use of the 30-minute consultation.
Cost:
$45 per UNA Member organization (only one person per organization needs to register), space is limited to 14 organizations per Legal Clinic.
