NCAP - DOE WAP Reporting Update
The Paperwork Reduction Act stipulates that every federal agency must obtain approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) before collecting the same or similar information from 10 or more members of the public. All federal programs must receive OMB approval of data collection tools and forms on a three year cycle. The set of reporting forms for the WAP formula program was approved by OMB in May 2020 and must be renewed by May 2023 (OMB Control No: 1910-5127). DOE is preparing documents for submission, including the Quarterly Performance and Annual Reports, and with the addition of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Weatherization Readiness funding will be considering additional reporting metrics. DOE is hosting a webinar with NCAP to provide an opportunity for general comments on proposed metrics and methods for data collection.
